On Friday evening all the runners came to register for their run, but it was also a beautiful Zululand winters evening with a great energy at the Zululand Multisport Club. There were some flea-market vibes, self-defence classes and running-for-mental-health sessions.

As is customary for the Ladies Race, the runners arrived a little early on Saturday morning for warmup. But this time around it was warmup with a Taekwan-Do twist.

And, just like that the race was a go and the ladies streamed out of the ZMSC grounds for their special race.

I had a front row seat to see each runner's finish. For me it was special to see ladies who achieved their goals for the day. There were personal bests being broken, ladies achieve something great for themselves or girls who just wanna' have fun.
I made a point to be there for each lady's finish and try and capture the moment.
Unfortunately I missed the picture of a handful finishers, but I was there for every single one and really tried to capture them all.
